The Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights (ALAP) will host a two-day gathering of events for theatre writers entitled "Dramalicious: West Coast Playwrights Conference" on Saturday, October 8 from 10am - 6:30pm PDT and Sunday, October 9 from 10am - 7pm PDT. The full weekend of programming will feature a variety of workshops, readings, and a keynote address from Lucas Hnath.


The conference is free to members of ALAP, and $20 for the full weekend of programming to anyone not an existing member of ALAP. It is open to anyone in any geographic location, with programming mostly taking place on Zoom.

The Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights (ALAP) is a service and support organization dedicated to protecting the rights and addressing the professional needs of the Los Angeles playwriting community. Founded in 1993, ALAP has a large and diverse membership of area playwrights ranging from students and beginning writers to established professionals.
