How Does Dramatists Guild National Silent Writing Work?
We understand that writing can feel like a solitary task from time to time, which may make finding the motivation to write difficult. To assist in this, starting September 2021, the Dramatists Guild is offering online silent writing sessions available for anyone across the country to drop into at any time. These sessions will be hosted by our Regional Representatives, Ambassadors, and volunteer hosts all across the country.
More times and dates will be added as they become available. If you would like to volunteer to host a Silent Writing session, please fill out this form.
HONOR ROLL! "is an advocacy and action group of women+ playwrights over forty, and our women+ over forty allies whose goal is our inclusion in theater. We are the generation excluded at the outset of our careers because of sexism, now overlooked because of ageism. We celebrate diversity in theater and work to eliminate age discrimination as it intersects with sexism and other biases including those based on race, gender identity, ethnicity, faith, socioeconomic status, disability, and sexual orientation in the American Theater and beyond."
Jordan Stovall (they/them/theirs), Director of Outreach & Institutional Partnerships
