Join the Dramatists Guild on Tuesday, August 16 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm EDT at The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center for a night out to meet with other theatre writers and industry workers in the New England community! This event is free and open for all to attend. Light food and drinks will be provided for attendees courtesy of The O’Neill.

We encourage anyone who might be in the area with a passion for creating and/or supporting new writing for the stage to come out and meet other folks who are either local to the Connecticut Shoreline, or visiting to connect with one another. It's also a wonderful opportunity to meet DG New England West Regional Rep, Emma Palzere-Rae; DG Boston Ambassador, John Minigan; and O'Neill Executive Director, Tiffani Gavin, who will both be in attendance along with other DG and O'Neill staff members.

This informal mixer will take place on the lawn outside the theatre’s Blue Gene’s Pub (weather permitting; alternately, moved inside the pub).

Feel free to spread the word to anyone who might find this useful, and we hope to see you there! Seating is limited: reserve early.

Registrants and attendees of the DG Industry Night Out are also invited to optionally purchase discounted tickets to stay for a show after the gathering!  If you want to catch a performance at the O’Neill’s Cabaret series, here’s information on what’s playing afterwards (be sure to scroll down for information on how to purchase tickets - RSVP to this free DG event does not include a ticket to the show):

Jenn Colella in Concert
Starting at 8pm EDT

"A Tony Award-nominee for Come From Away and Grammy Award-winner for Dear Evan Hanson, Jenn Colella's voice and storytelling are unparalleled in this dazzling solo show. With the O'Neill's own Artistic Director John McDaniel at the piano, this is a 'don’t miss' evening!"

How to purchase optional tickets to the show: Those wishing to attend the evening’s performance at 8pm, will receive a 20% discount on tickets by using the code DGMeetUp upon check out. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here or at the box office that evening (pending availability). The code is good for all ticket levels available that night.
