About this Event
302 S Hicks St. Philadelphia, PA 19102
Let's support Philly playwright and DG member, Erlina Ortiz by gathering together to see her new play, Young Money! This is a Pay-What-You-Decide Event at Azuka Theatre.
This is an informal meet up. Please make sure you reserve a ticket for the show at https://www.azukatheatre.org after you regsiter for the event. Tickets are Pay What You Decide, so you will not be asked to make a payment when you reserve your seat.
How does Pay-What-You-Decide work? Tickets are available to reserve in advance as usual, but there is no obligation to pay until after you have seen the show. You decide the price based on your experience.
What is the show about? Thomasina AKA Kila-T is Hip-hop's newest chart topper. Elegant and prideful Gardenia has been laid off from her job of 20 years and now she cleans Kila’s dressing room. When an attack on Kila’s concert forces the two women together, questions of morality, success, and redemption are danced around as these women discover they may have more to learn from each other than they think.
